    Still drizzling in Texas.
Also 40 degrees with a 14 mph wind. If any fans are allowed to be there, they are going to wish they weren't.

I read somewhere that it wasn't going to be announced until Jan. 1. Funny how things happen.

In the crosstalk it took me a second to realize you were talking about Larson. For a second I thought you were referring to the winner of the Texas race.

    Might as well have been.

Pardon me if I've said it before, but I've watched more races this year than probably the last 10 years combined. It's mostly because of my work schedule, but I feel like the product is a little less meh than it was in, say, 2012.

I believe that was me saying that might happen because his suspension wouldn’t be lifted until then. Apparently they can make deals, but he can’t race until then … which is good, because they don’t have any sponsors yet.

    They probably won’t do this.

Curious who they will get for a sponsor. I imagine a new sponsor to the sport, have to think they'd get a good deal, considering its a Hendrick team. Kind of like getting a good deal on a laptop because the box is all jacked up.
