    I am really glad to see I'm not the only one who watched MTV. It's amazing to consider the time spent watching something that mostly sucked.

    The Headbanger's Ball was appointment viewing, but neither Riki Rachtman nor his professed love for Sepultura were selling points for me.

    Love the Tucker Carlson "dog ate my homework" stuff. People may not realize this, but the NY Post is located just three floors above Fox News studios. The docs were inside the building - you actually needed to make an effort to not get the docs to Carlson.

    When I think of a celebrity endorsement that matters - honestly - The Rock might be the tops. People love him, he crosses multiple spectrums and he's not a dyed in the wool R or D. Can't think of many others who fit that mold. Maybe Johnny Cash

    re: MTV memories, the oral history book "I Want My MTV" is required reading if you grew up in that era. Just a great read.
