He’s off to fuck the prom queen. (Be careful googling that that work, FYI)

According to IMDB he was in 94 movies. I would have sworn it was closer to 500.
For every Untouchables, there was a Zardoz. For every Bond sequel, a Highlander 2. He didn't make Marvel's Avengers, but he was in The Avengers. He was on The Last Crusade and also played Sir Gawain. Amazingly, whatever forgettable dreck movie he was in he brought so much gravitas to that it was made at least a little bit better.
RIP to not just a legend, but an absolute icon.

Now, in his honor, I'm going to go have a fight and only use my thumb. My right thumb. The left one is much too powerful.

I liked the book, but the movie was full of so much bullshit that it was hard for me to suspend my disbelief. Submarines don't have high ceilings and wide, spacious control rooms. The whole damn submarine looked like a Hollywood set, not a sub. Ruined it for me.

I absolutely love "The Man Who Would Be King", John Huston's last film. If you have not seen it, you should find it. Amazing work from Connery and Michael Caine. Perfect casting. "The Great Train Robbery" is fine as well, from the novel by Michael Chrichton.

    Lazenby, not so much.

    Rest, Sean. Well earned rest.

Lazenby finishes - at worst - tied with Brosnan, and ahead of both Dalton and Moore. (By the end of his tenure Moore was doing parody.) Then Niven. The only Bond left is Barry Nelson. The original Bond. (But American, therefore disqualified.)

And Huston was nearly 70 at the time, but he directed a few more after 1975. 'The Dead' in particular is worth seeing.

There's a Connery 'MacBeth' from 1960 or so on Canadian TV.

About as anti-Bond as he could play as Indiana Jones' father. "Come along, Junior!"
