I understand that, I do. Mexicans are not Cubans are not Brazilians are not Colombians. But what the f***. Trump hates them all.

Latinx term aside, it's definitely really important to stress that people who identify as Latino/Hispanic can have very different beliefs. These beliefs can be forged by religion, by their experiences growing up in certain political systems, and when they moved to the United States. The common wisdom is that Cuban Americans are more conservative, but that can also be applied to immigrants from other places in Central America and South America.

They absolutely should not be viewed as one bloc of voters, and even more so should not be considered single-issue voters.
