    I was a high school senior the week of cross country district championships. We didn’t practice until 5, so I went to Palm Bay’s City Hall to vote for Gore after school.

    I was still a semester away from being in Tallahassee (and still thought I’d be going to Ohio State at that point), so I missed out on all the fun in the Capital city that ensued.

    I can't explain it, rationally.

    I do think there is merit to half of the country - for five years - calling Trump supporters - and even Republicans (like myself who don't like Trump and voted today for Biden) - idiots, stupid, racists, etc. You can't do that for years and then come back with a candidate who says they'll work for everybody.
