    It depends how close it is, though. Picking a winner is one thing. Being “off” 4-5 points “across the board” would still be troublesome.

    Has it? I've got it about 2-3 points off, and that usually tightens when late-arriving ballots come in and are counted (they tend to be heavily Democratic). It could easily be under 2 points on average this year.

    Looking at some county numbers in Arkansas, there are some with lower vote totals than 2016. More early voters, but a lot fewer day-of voters.

    It's still where we thought with Biden taking Arizona: Nevada, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Penn and the Nebraska single puts him right at 270

    It depends on what order the states count their early ballots versus their election day ballots.

    The states that had a blue mirage (early Biden lead that vanished) pre-count their early ballots and release them all immediately after polls close.

    The remaining states not only do not do that, I believe two of them actually don't start counting early ballots until the day-of ballots are done.
