Jesus Christ. Biden turned out waaaaaaay more votes than Hillary. How is it his fault that at least four million more voters than last time wanted four more years of the Racist In Chief?

The amendments I voted against in my state each won handily. Either I'm out of touch or my state is. I'm going with the state being batshit crazy. My tween daughter might disagree.

I, obviously, know nothing about Georgia politics, but cutting another 85k votes with 95 percent of Fulton County and 85 percent of DeKalb counted seems unlikely to me.

No, your state is batshit crazy. I lived there for almost seven years.

A nation of citizens who repeatedly punch themselves in the dick, then bitch and moan that their balls hurt.

There are 200k votes left to count in those areas (don't recall specifically which county) that are *only* mail-in absentee votes. A similar batch this morning was running almost 90% Biden.

    Biden won Georgia, folks.

No they got nervous about socialistic tendencies of the Democrats. And Cubans are way more conservative than many of us want to admit. People like AOC and where she is likely going to take the Democrats scares them. And it likely scared some more conservative leaning Hispanics who might have voted for Biden but couldn't get over the socialism hurdle, even if Biden is to socialism like I am to Libertarianism.

There is a good number of Mexicans and Central Americans who are scared shitless about immigration policies from the GOP. But there is also a good number of established Latinos who have lived here for at least one generation who don't have that fear and want God, family and opportunity. And if the Dems piss on some of that lumping them in with everyone else, they will never flip Texas or clean up in other states to put the GOP out of its misery.

Sara Gideon concedes to Susan Collins, per the NYT, which has been way, way behind in its vote count.
CNN hasn't noticed the following on the NYT Upshot blog:

Emily Cochrane, in Bangor, Maine10m ago

Senator Susan Collins of Maine says she received “a very gracious call” from Sara Gideon, her Democratic opponent, conceding the race. See Maine results ›

On the other hand, I don't think those remaining votes are quite enough for Ossoff, and Collins just got a concession from her opponent, so I think that's it for the Senate.
