Here’s my naïve question: Why do we think we need to know the result of the election before the election? Relying on polling seems, at a base level, a bit silly.

I mean, I understand if you’re running a campaign. Just like I understand needing a minute-by-minute update on the Dow if you trade equities. But most of us, really, don’t need to know.

And who TF answers unknown numbers anymore?

As a member of the media, I don’t feel comfortable participating in polls. So I never answer them.

During the interview Ainsley Earhardt said she was friends with a college football coach “a strong Christian” who has thought about politics but considered it too divisive
Ainsley is from South Carolina and her ex-husband is a former Clemson QB
I’m sure she was talking about Dabo

Trump offers compromise - count votes for me, none for Biden. Sounds fair.

Dabo is good at being a football coach, unlike Tommy. So why would he get political rather than bask in universal admiration (well, almost) in South Carolina?

Cable news with air to fill and no new vote totals to report is the worst cable news

They do realize that it doesn’t impact the vote totals? And of all things, you want a completely unbiased vote projector?

I hear you on this, File Not Found. But it would be good to go into these things not looking the fool while talking about them. Polls have made idiots of all.

It's possible even the clownishly run Trump campaign made worse decisions as a result of defective polling.
