Biden will get to 270. He may get to 300+. I'd be more worried about getting enough to neutralize any faithless electors at this point than about him getting to 270.

 

When my dad was in the Navy in the early '60s, he said it was a game to see if you could squeeze off one shot with a full auto rifle. He said it was harder than you might think.

He and his buddies also would stick a grenade in a roll of toilet paper, pull the pin and pitch it over the deck. Homemade depth charge. Might have something to do with him never rising above E4 during his time.

 

It's down to a 115K difference down from 500,000 from this time yesterday and a double-digit percentage of votes still left to be counted in Phily county and neighboring counties. I might pump the brakes a little.

Looking through some of the polling in the last week, stuff was all over the map - some state polling too "generous" for Trump, others for Biden. And the Senate races as well. Unless we get a far more clear picture as the straggling votes are counted in various states, or some discrepancies start appearing, like more votes than registered voters in various places - pollsters need to figure out a new way.
