Okay. I wanted McConnell to lose.
If he won, I wanted the Ds to have the majority in the Senate.
I'll take some solace that he'll have to take every one of Trump's calls for the next two years.

I was like, HIT THE FUCKING THING ALREADY!

... then saw it's just a 3-second clip and was never going to hit the thing. Derp.

Everything about 2020 and the state of our nation is summed up in a nutshell in two simple tweets:

    President Trump: STOP THE COUNT!
Biden: Every vote must be counted.

Nikki Haley is on her knees like a good girl after DJR calls out 2024 hopefuls for not properly supporting FATUS' fight. LOL

Note how Haley's tweet reads like it's being delivered at graveside.

I listened to the latest Lincoln Project podcast and that crew is happy with the outcome but wanted a repudiation, probably more than anyone did.

Dave Wasserman from Charlie Cook's gang made a much more succinct version of my response to Alma's post. Trump hit a sweet spot for other Republicans on the ballot. He increased turnout from low frequency Republican voters, and also allowed independents who hated Trump the chance to vote Republican for something they didn't have in the midterm.

it took decades to make the mess and it'll take more than a year of pithy ads and fire tweets to clean it up

I don't like Bush Republicans doing my dirty work for me, but eh, it worked. That's all that matters.

However, listening to that podcast those guys were angered with the outcomes in certain places. They expected tangible sets of results. Let down along with everyone else.
