    I'm still surprised at the slowness of the count in all four states, as I anticipated it to go faster.

    However, I'm assuming that they're under instructions to be extra vigilant about the process. We knew coming into this election that Trump and Co. would try to question the legitimacy. They then immediately launched a bunch of lawsuits just as the mail-in counting started in earnest. I guarantee you that the heads of elections in these states instructed their staff to be as thorough as possible in verifying, approving, and counting each ballot, even if it slowed the process down. That way, any challenge to the legitimacy of the ballots can be immediately countered with evidence of the thorough checks they went through.

    Al Gore just did something he doesn't do a whole lot of, which is talk about 2000, on NBC. It was damn impressive. I think Gore would have been a pretty good president
