President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

I'm guessing Nevada will be called by the networks before Pennsylvania. Apparently there's a high number of provisional ballots in PA, which have been more balanced than the mail-in ballots. And given the slow counting pace, we may not get enough ballots counted today to get Pennsylvania officially called.

Nevada is expected to have a decent ballot count update tonight and given Biden's lead there and the fact most of the ballots are coming from Democratic stronghold Clark County, it should be a sizeable enough gain for networks to make the call and officially start labeling Joe Biden the president-elect.

 

If only Nevada gets called, that's not enough considering only two outlets have called Arizona and nobody has called Georgia

 

As mentioned, Biden's best EV is 309 if Alaska happens to flip. More likely will max at 306 not 326.

Obama and Bush both had majorities in the popular votes

Biden won Maine, but Susan Collins won the senate race there.

 

But other than that, it was a helluva post.

 

I think that if Fox calls it, that will pull a lot of weight.

Probably more accurate to say that the more conservative their voting record, the more their districts were pretty Republican turf in the first place.

The more conservative their votes, the more conservative the district they were trying to get re-elected in. That would be my bet without so much as scanning the chart.

Hell, Doug Jones voted Republican Lite.

 

Biden’s going to go on National TV tonight and look, sound and act Presidential. He’s going to remind many people what it’s like to have a sane and rational person talking to the American people. He won’t tweet bile and shit and won’t be found to make incredulous accusations. Then trump will go unhinged and will be called out more and more for lies. Biden’s lawyers will be available to counter arguments to trump’s wild accusations and even Fox will have to at least summarize Biden’s legal responses. Trump is going burn everything as he retreats Mar A Leningrad, but there will be no counter offensive, strictly a defensive retreat.
