    Hmmmm 84 year old Pat Roberts is a Republican Senator and Marine so maybe offer him DefSec and let Democratic Kansas Gov name herself as Senator and offer her the pick of committee chairs.

    I would anticipate ruling out the majority of Democratic Senators who are in states led by Republican Governors as potential cabinet members. The Biden administration (damn it feels good to type that) won't be able to lose those seats in the senate.

    No Elizabeth Warren as Secretary of the Treasury, in other words.

    I'd also expect a push for younger Dems in key roles, and a mix of moderates and progressives.
