The neighbors right across the street just put up a hand made MAGA! sign in the front yard.

My perception is that the Lincoln Project people really didn't like Trump and what he was doing to their party. They also saw the potential to make a lot of money, and I fully expect that the major players paid themselves multiple millions out of donations once the thing really took off. I suspect that they also really enjoyed the work, slapping Trump and some of his slimier supporters around. Biden owes them nothing other than perhaps to listen to what they're selling. He's going to be listening to a whole lot of people with massively different agendas, and trying to choose smart and successful policies.

The LP has no more claim on him than AOC does. He's going to have to chart his own course and everyone can't steer the ship.

That story was shocking; I didn’t know UPI was still around.

You don't threaten to lock up your political opponents, and you don't lock them up. That's authoritarian rule, not democracy.

OTOH, if crimes were committed then you let the system work. I have zero problem with New York going to court and saying "You valued this property at $X when you were getting a loan, and $X -30% for tax purposes. One or the other of these (or perhaps both) were untrue. This is textbook bank/tax fraud."

Try him, and if he is found guilty, lock him up. This isn't a controversial stance.

FWIW (nothing, since facts don't matter here or anywhere), the adult bookstore wasn't next door. It was four buildings down the street.

I think this speaks volumes about world leaders' views of Trump.
