No. I almost added in my OP that it was not Billy Martin.

If it’s not Murtaugh, I’ll guess Connie Mack because I know there were several seasons where he didn’t finish, but then came back the next year to manage.

Mariano Rivera pitched 1,115 games with the Yankees, a modern-era MLB record for most appearances for one team. The old record was 802, shared by Walter Johnson with the Senators, and which player for which team?

Warren Spahn with the Braves has to be up there.

Spahn pitched 714 games for the Boston/Milwaukee Braves. The man who shared the record with Johnson is of this era.

Trevor Hoffman pitched a bunch of games with the Padres, but are you looking for someone who was on just one team?

Yes, with just one team. Apparently I had old information. Hoffman is second with the Padres, with 902. The man I was looking for, tied with Johnson until Hoffman and Rivera, was ElRoy Face with the Pirates. Franco appeared in 695 games with the Mets.
