I would say Rupar is actually a bigger star now than Whitlock.

You know who else has access to powerful people and (generally) bloated bank accounts?

The suits you claim to hate so much.

Weird way for you to come out and show your respect, admiration and appreciation for the suits, but you do you.

    He's a podcast/columnist guy for Outkick. That's a suit? Sounds like a work 60, paid 40 kind of person.

Yeah, I'm sure Whitlock punches a time clock and gets paid by the hour. There's no way he's salaried.

Your listing of reasons to idolize Whitlock included the access he has and the size of his bank account. Same as … you know, many "suits" out there.

The exact moment that Jason Whitlock stopped mattering was the point in 2006 when he took his column from ESPN Page 2 to AOL Sports while still expecting to be on-air at ESPN, which lasted right up until he gave an interview to The Big Lead in which he trashed colleagues including Mike Lupica and Scoop Jackson. That was the one in which he publicly debuted the term “bojangling,” which he has since proven himself to be an expert at.

    End of thread.
