70M votes for him; that’s ugly, but that doesn’t mean all 70M we’re willing to stand in freezing temps waiting for a bus much less supportive of a crisis

I agree with this. And not to overthink the matter, but I do wonder if part of the rationale for the refusal to concede Trump's loss from the greater Republican establishment is due to the fact that, if they give up the ghost now, they are very likely lose some voter energy and interest toward those two races which might end up costing them 51+ Senate seats if their voters don't turn out to match Democratic interest--which is almost certain to be high.

Nope. Not even with borrowed genitalia.

    Ibid.

At least a few of the people I've lost this past year could have been depended upon to tell the Pollyanna Kumbaya crowd to blow it out their collective asses. That's how I'm leaning.

    But he looks so sad!

I've seen this argument pop up a few times today. It means nothing more than more people voted and more people voted for Biden over Trump. Wasn't the reason Clinton lost because people didn't turn out to vote? If they had wouldn't things look a little different than these numbers? Also, the increase for Biden is 13 percent over 2016 but the increase in total difference is only 2 percent, which also just shows more people voted and on both sides. Basically the same with the Milwaukee argument she used. Such a really terrible argument. But they have to try and get what they can I guess.

That is documenting our worst nightmare.
Basically, fuck you, voters, we are in ignoring your vote and casting electoral votes for Trump.

I know we're supposed to be trying to heal and all, but I think slamming some of them for these little acts should be done. Time to reign in the stupidity.

For the record, the Republican leader in the Pa. State House has already rejected this approach.

It's not even logical. If there was a second Trump administration, then there wouldn't need to be any transition of power since Trump already has the power.
