We did not see this high a level of affection (or is it affliction) for Ike, Nixon, Ford, Regan or either Bush, all of whom were greater presidents than Trump.

I believe their top priority is to protect his physical safety, but as officers of the federal government they are sworn to uphold the laws and constitution of the US, if they were to directly witness unlawful actions, I believe they would be required to report them, if not to take enforcement action themselves.

 

This isn’t an either/or proposition.

Of course, that would likely result in Fatfuck fairly quickly professing he had no need for Secret Service protection and claiming he would hire his own "highly trained contractors" to handle security himself, but whatever shaved apes Fatfuck hired as security, they would have no more legal authority than Paul Blart.

I have wondered about this sort of thing for a while.
What if he tries to kill Melania or another member of the immediate klan under Secret Service protection and there are Secret Service agents in the room? What do they do? Normally, police officers would disable the assailant. I really don't know.
