Kayleigh was on F&F this morning and was asked about electors picked by GOP legislatures and said: “Constitutionally that’s an accurate argument but we’re focusing on the courts for now
Don’t say he can’t do it because he’s damn well going to try

    Still probably their best album.

Which includes a lyric from the song Esther that resonates today: "Esther tried in vain to pacify the mob."

Woman on CNN, can't remember her name, I usually don't like her very much. ... but her description of Trump and his relationship with the Republican party is that they let him wear the Republican party like a rented tuxedo. ... and now the party is over and the tuxedo is all stained and crumpled up in the corner. I thought that captured it well.

The problem with the relationship is that they both thought they were using each other...and now the GOP just missed its period and Trump is out the door.

It is not legal under the laws of all 50 states. It is not legal under US law, which mandates that in the event of a dispute over electors between a governor and legislature, governor wins. Even if the Senate were to ignore this, the House wouldn't. Again, Congress is the determining body for the electoral college, not the judiciary. The Supreme Court would have to declare the coup constitutional by fiat plus destroy the idea of federalism and simply ignore the words of said Constitution. Not that they wouldn't do it, but are they also ready to live the rest of their lives under assassination quarantine?

I’m glad the margin will be > 2 states’ worth. But the truth is that every election is closer than the EV margin suggests. And what if TX really is competitive one day? Talk about a swing state: 38 EV.

How does KayLeigh have a law shingle ...

I don't care either way but I figure somebody has dirt on her, her husband or the roofing family she came from.

We haven't heard from young J. Hogan Gidley (sounds like a Salinger name) - I do hope that young man will land on his feet.

I think the Congress votes in joint session — is as one group of 535 rather than separately. Democrats outnumber Trumpists in the 535.

They have dirt on her husband all right. He sucks. I’m sure that 8.10 ERA is explained entirely by libruhl bias.
