I can't like that - and I wish I could disagree.

 

He'd be the one guy who likes Isaiah Thomas and campaign to have him on the Dream Team, just like he bought back B1G football.

In the old days when I worked the desk in the AM, I always monitored the morning newscasts to make sure we were covered. There were a number of times they’d keep on coming back to a story where there were few details and no updates and you’re like, “why?” Because inevitably the TV crew was told off the record that someone had died in a fire, there’d been a homicide, etc. So they just kept hammering away at the story until the news came out. After getting caught flat-footed on that a couple times, you knew to keep your antenna up and mobilize when that happened.

I get the same feeling here. There has been so much smoke billowing for so long.

 

Trump and Isiah are kindred spirits when it comes to how to treat women.

 

If Trump compromises some of our sources elsewhere, is it worth it to burn the sources providing the intelligence McCabe described so we have some
cover? For all we know they could be the same guy.

 

This may be the best thing about all the Trumpistas fleeing Facebook, the only place I see all their whackadoodle theories is here, where I can give them the laughter they deserve.

 

McCabe has plenty of reasons to want to stick a knife in Trump, but he says this instead of doing so:

"It would be tragic to American intelligence collection for those sources to be put at risk."

 

I'm honestly unclear as to what point McCabe is trying to make here.
1. The truth that has been covered up is going to come out, and people will know how bad he really was.
2. This can't ever come out because it would compromise how we gathered it.
