President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

Yesterday there was something I saw that ranked us 37th in world democracies on our election administration and security. I'm not real sure what criteria was used, but that's sad. The biggest point made was that we don't have a set of uniform standards and dates. We have 50 states doing 50 things.
Each state should administer its own elections for sure, but I do like the idea of have at least a few uniform standards and a timeline.

 

Look at the time stamps on many of his tweets. It's no wonder he's freakin crazy. Son of a gun never sleeps.

 

For once I'll make a (minor) point in Trump's defense. Some old people (like me) often have trouble sleeping though the night. I'll go to bed unable to keep my eyes open at 9:30-1o, then wake up at 2 or 3 am unable to get back to a deep sleep. This condition is probably worse when you're crazy as a bedbug like he is.

 

Exacerbated in Trump's case by the diet of Pixie Stix and crushed Adderall.

 

And a blacklight.

 

This might help, I have started putting on a podcast and putting my phone under the pillow. Something light like a celebrity interview.

 

We always find that things are not as trump says they are.

 

He is very good about taking a small nugget, true or untrue, and shamelessly amplifying it to the point where it becomes part of the conversation.

 

Interesting question. It sounds like encouragement of violence to me. But I suspect it would be hard to prove because he doesn’t elaborate on what “rise up” entails.

 

He later gaslighted, er, walked it back.

 

Even worse, I'd think that would qualify for someone's medical license being pulled. Why not just prescribe three glasses of chlorine?
