Cawthorn is an idiot. But since he's coming from an area similar to where Mark Meadows emerged to end up at Capitol Hill (similar, not same ... this district was formerly gerrymandered by North Carolina politicians. When Meadows saw that they were changing it, he took Trump's offer knowing he would never win reelection.)
