If the coup fails, Biden really has no realistic alternative but to arrest about 1000 leading Republicans for an attempt to overthrow the US government and seek the death penalty in every case. Needless to say, if he has the good luck to be inaugurated, he won't do anything of the sort. So I'm realistic, American democracy sooner or later is doomed. A significant majority of white people want a white supremacist fascist state. They'll get it eventually.

The Nevada challenge will likely go as well as all the other Trump battles in court. Michigan is different. It's a pure power play by two racist Republicans. They need to go back to their homes and find mobs there.

 

Third act twist. Wayne County Board now votes unanimously to certify results. Sounds like two people got a talking to from their Republican superiors in the state.
