I'm really surprised there have been no resignations since the election. You'd like to think a few of his appointees would bail out, if only to preserve their job prospects - forget about principle or losing confidence in the abilities of the President. The Kool-Aid drinkers (Miller, Barr, McEnaney) of course, but the ship be sinking and you'd think a couple would be heading to the life rafts by now.

 

Perhaps they’re hoping they’ll get fired so they can get severance? Although I don’t know what the rules are for political appointees in the federal system.

 

I don’t think the media has had to cover a President who pretty much is the crazy guy on the street corner screaming.

You have to report what they say, but that means shutting it down in a headline and/or lede.

 

1. Anybody still left in the administration is almost surely a kool-aid drinker.
2. The Republican political careerists that are left likely figure it's better for their futures to be seen as having been loyal and that in any case, if they keep their heads down, it'll all be over soon anyway.

 

Stop reporting the idiot’s personal Twitter feed. Report from his POTUS feed. And there’s never a reason to report false information without qualifying the report that it’s false. The President provides the following false information today, “half the county is inferior”
