This is crap. The Democrats could have sucked McConnell's balls every day, and he would still be the same person that he is and he would still be abusing his Senate powers the same way he has been abusing them since Obama was president. It is nobody's fault that Mitch McConnell is the rat bastard that he is. In fact I am really sick of people saying that the fact that the Republicans in Washington have been terrible, horrible people who've abused power and abetted the president as he has weekend the foundation our democracy is the fault of the Democrats. It is not the fault of the Democrats.

Frankly this is just more rape culture behavior. The Republicans are doing this to us. We did not ask them to do this to us. And I will not accept responsibility for the Republicans behaving the way that they're behaving.

 

When is the last time conservatives were asked to "reach out" to liberals? Rs to Ds? Do we even expect Rs to seek to understand Ds better? No.
And the thing is, the Rs know this and milk it for everything they can.

Honestly, they are more than OK with the Ds having to cover both the left and the "responsible adult in the room" card. It's like having a rager when your parents are out of town and you "agree" with your older sister that you'll make sure people will stay out of her and the parents bedrooms as a compromise.
