Airplane was on some cable channel yesterday afternoon. It's a strong contender here. "Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue" was a Herald sports department catchphrase for especially chaotic moments, which were pretty much a weekly occurance. And of course, Kareem's monologue that begins "Listen, kid..."

For us older crowd there’s Get Smart (missed it by that much; sorry about that, Chief). For the 90s crew there’s Seinfeld (not that there’s anything wrong with that; shrinkage).

Star Trek with “beam we up Scotty” and The Office with “that’s what she said” had one off lines that will be quoted forever.
