    “Because those are the rules”

“The league needs to enforce the rules”

“Either the rules matter or they don’t”

    OOP, show us these rules.

Yes, likely plenty of other debates on message boards. God forbid there be disagreement here.

I mean, fine. Keep going at one another for another X pages - I'm positive one of you will yield.

Hey, I'm happy as all shit there has been this much of the NFL season, and it's been pretty much a legit season so far.

Now, the talk of forfeits and players not getting paid if a game is forfeited during the regular season makes me wonder about the playoffs.

    Is this accurate?
    • Divisional Playoff Game: $31,000.
    • Conference Championship Game: $56,000.
    • Super Bowl. Winning Team: $124,000. Losing Team: $62,000.
If so, there is a real possibility, or more a chance and it might be slight, that players just say "fuck this shit" right before the playoffs. I know the owners would lose their minds, but if this COVID dance gets worse, that's when we see the forfeits or play with what you have.

The only reasonable solution is to make them forfeit.

JC, prove I'm wrong. You can't. You would have done it by now if you could.

Keep digging. You already reminded everybody that you are a lousy human being once again by saying the world would be perfect if there was a severe COVID outbreak on a football team.

I never claimed there were rules.

Everybody here told me that shouldn't happen. I see it took you all of two seconds to change your story.

If the Steelers broke protocol the way the Ravens did, it would be worth considering. The problem is the game would have been played already by now if not for the Ravens breaking protocol and getting it delayed.

So you are rooting for a serious COVID outbreak on an NFL team, actually saying it would be perfect if that particular group of human beings contracted a deadly virus, and you don't even know that the league has protocols for COVID. Ignorant and awful is no way to go through life.

I know it’s not your fault you are incapable of seeing sarcasm

I was wondering how long it was going to take you to trot out that pathetic defense. You posted something awful, possibly because you didn't actually think it through, and now you want to claim that you didn't mean it.

Back to a serious discussion, if the Steelers have more positive tests this weekend, that game is being pushed to Week 18. Maybe if the last test is today, they get it played, but if they are still having positive tests by Sunday, the league is going to punt.
