I think it was actually worse for McDaniels in Denver. And Scott Pioli in Kansas City. And so on.

McDaniels at the time looked like a 2010 football version of Jared.

What is there to ponder? Either there are more positive tests today, in which case they have to move it, or there aren't and you play the fucking game.

The only thing that changed since yesterday is the backlash over the Broncos going without a quarterback. The backlash could be even worse if the Steelers were to embarrass the Ravens tomorrow night. If they move it again with no more positive tests, it is a public relations move.

Looks like Monday's round of testing on the Ravens did not turn up any new positives that would affect the game. A player on IR did test positive, but he hasn't been around the team.

The new issue may be concern over the Ravens' players refusing to play. Doesn't that have to be a forfeit? If it isn't a health concern, how can the league postpone the game after refusing to do it for the Broncos?

Also, are we ready for Wednesday night football?

Not sure why WFT-Pittsburgh wouldn't go on as scheduled on Sunday. Teams play on three days rest all season with the Sunday-Thursday turnaround. Wednesday-Sunday is the same time window.

My understanding is that Ravens-Cowboys, which had been scheduled for this Thursday, would be pushed back to that Monday or Tuesday, not Sunday. If you are going to accommodate one of the teams in this mess, shouldn't it be both?

Some players have been very vocal in their complaints, but Steelers' as an organization have done nothing but play the good soldiers through the issues with the game against the Titans and this one. To give the Ravens four days between games, but not the Steelers, doesn't seem like a smart response to that. That is especially true if this latest postponement really is due to the Ravens' players making noise about refusing to play.

Of course, we'll never get confirmation from the league if it caved to pressure from the Ravens. If they did, any player who would have been out Tuesday should not be allowed to play Wednesday.
