Biden needs to press the Tanden issue - not sure she's worth the ruckus the GOP is making, but Biden has to lean on things early in his Administration to let the Republicans know he's not a sucker, nor will he apologize for winning. Let the Dems recite lists of nominees the Republicans had no problem signing off on, who proved their incompetence or their lack of loyalty to Trump - have at it.

Besides, its OMB - it isn't like Congress will pass a budget. The last time a budget was passed - on time - was 1996. It's been nothing but continuing resolutions and stop gap spending bills since then.

If this factoid is true (and I'm certainly not doubting it), then its so typical of the Trump Administration to jump the gun and fail to follow the proper procedure and reach a meaningless "position" and lead to ultimately defeat. Those facts are clear and if that's the law, that special counsel has no jurisdiction and no powers, which will lead people to ignore subpoenas and a court will not uphold the subpoenas nor find them in contempt.

If he was appointed illegally he'll get kicked to the curb after 1/20.

CNN reporting the Dept. of Justice is investigating "a potential crime regarding funneling money to the White House in return for a presidential pardon, according to a court document unsealed by the chief judge of the US Circuit Court of Appeals. If memory serves, that judge is one Merrick Garland.

It'd be nice if this was the tipping point for Barr and that's why he said what he did today, and then went to the White House to give Donald a heads up on this story breaking .. but that's too clean.

Out this way the regional white nationalist/Trump thug squad Patriot Prayer protested outside the home of some guy who happened to write the citation fining an area gym for ignoring the governor's closure orders.
