I interviewed over the phone with him for a writing position at Space.com in 2001 after TotalSports went belly up, but he had zero budget for actual reporting even though he felt I had significant background to do the work. No pay, no stories.

 

I can relate to the guy who got tired went home and wants a do over because he wasn't there.
