    Jeebus.
Even if it IS just the flu, she shouldn't be in school.

So so so so so much stupid out there.

I was walking out of my hotel Sunday with my dog, ready to load up for the drive home. A guy comes up to me, mask down on his face with his big ol' nose exposed, to pet Ella and talk to me. I told him, firmly, to back the hell up and put the mask over his nose if he wanted to talk to me. He chuckles and goes, "Oh, you're one of those, huh?" But he did back up.

My brother remains in the hospital fighting this nonsense. What I wanted to do was punch his lights out but Mature Mike managed to resist and take the dog to the car and drive home. Furious.

This, at the same time the CDC is reducing rec'd quarantine/isolation periods.

Like riding a psychotic horse toward a burning stable.

My girlfriend had a student in class yesterday. The mom is believed to have tested positive. The kid went around telling folks that the school nurse OK’d her to go to class. Girlfriend didn’t have time to track down nurse and confirm. We’re also dealing with that.

One day he is, the next day he isn't. My sister-in-law is doing her best to keep us updated but she's sick, too. He did view my Instagram stories from last night so I take that as a good sign that he feels well enough to scroll through his phone and look at my bullshit.

I post tweets from Josh Moon fairly often. Here's an example of why I like the guy's work. He got run off of the Montgomery paper for investigating things a little too well, and now he's with a state gadfly publication, but he's still bringing it.

Opinion | Ivey sends the wrong message at the wrong time on in-person learning

"Ivey governs a state that is dominated by right-wing voters who have bought hook, line and sinker into the Trump fantasyland extravaganza and conspiracy carnival. The majority of voters in this state, and an overwhelming majority of voters in Ivey’s party, believe Trump won in a landslide, that masks are tyranny, and shutdown orders are impeachable offenses."

That graphic lines up almost perfectly with "red" states. It's just missing Texas and parts of the South (which peaked earlier).

That tweet is intentionally misleading and hoping that people will conclude her grandmother died of COVID, which the link confirms she did not.

My error, I should have caught that.
