I can't believe any of you guys care about this. It's so far from even the mediocre product it's presented in recent years.

It's the only sense of normalcy I have right now. I understand it's a diluted product, but I can still watch football and drink beers on Sunday. I need that.

Shefter this morning was saying he doesn't think the NFL will do a postseason bubble. I don't know how the NFL could look at how well it worked for the other three leagues* and what just happened to the Broncos and the Ravens and think status quo is not going to be a problem. There's going to be a team that is going to lose because a key player is going on the Covid list. Hell, wouldn't shock me if they need to bump a game to a Tuesday.

*Justin Turner's dumbassery not withstanding. Even then, he didn't test positive until the final game.

I haven't liked Pat Bowlen since he was hopping around in a mink coat on the sidelines,
like every other douche who thought that bad '80s fad would last,
but there was little turbulence within the power structure for 25 years and none of his children appear to understand that doesn't happen by accident.

No doubt about that. They're not getting the full $3 billion or whatever they sell it for. Closer to half of that.

That wasn't much of a revelation. Goodell said as much during the halftime interview yesterday, that they wouldn't be going into bubbles, but they would look at tighter restrictions to reduce potential exposures for the players and staff outside the facilities.

I can't either. Most of the time my wife watches so I don't have to.

I've heard a rumor Mike Irvin is ill again. Is that true?

I remember listening to an radio interview with a former Patriot. He was a friend of Wes Welker and said that Welker admired the Broncos coaching staff for "humbling" themselves and turning the offense over to Peyton.

When Peyton came to Denver in 2012 there was talk about the Broncos being balanced. Peyton was going to line up under center and the Broncos were going to run the ball to set up the pass. The Broncos started 2-3. Houston and New England jumped out to big leads and when the Broncos started running the spread they came back . Then the coaching staff handed the offense to Peyton to run the spread and the Broncos won 11 straight.
