He is messianic in that he provides absolution of his cult’s sins. Failed jobs? Failed relationships? Failed life? Trump assures them it’s not their fault. It was the Gayz and the uppity blacks and the women’s libbers who caused all of those problems. It was a conspiracy to hold all those good white Christians down. Not their own repeated poor life choices. But he says it’s ok now, and he will protect them.

But why him and not his kids? I think the difference is they are too scrubbed and clean. His cult sees him as one of them. He’s overweight. He uses small words. He says what he wants when it pops in his head.

My definition of "it"--Trump is an (overt) racist, a cyberbully/troll and traffics in victimhood. That, plus his support from muh judges/muh taxes people, is how he got to 74 million votes.

74 million Americans who shrugged their shoulders at his corruption, collusion, incompetence, and willful negligence which lead to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans.

Thankfully, he lost. By a lot.

Combine whatever it is he has, with people who are vulnerable to being indoctrinated and you have the perfect storm. I don't know how many there are that fit that description, I would love to know the actual percentage.
These are the ones who seem to believe he is a good person. They truly think that he cares about others and the country. They saw a strong , patriotic, god sent man holding up that bible. I even thought some of those pics were pretty powerful. Even though I know the guy behind them.

They want to be indoctrinated because they are empty vessels. They don't believe in a separation of powers. They don't believe in a free press. They want to live in a monarchy.

I am wondering if the legal set can tell us whether his rat-faced daughter faces any real liability.

These people are not used to being shoved. That is going to be a nice change to see unfold.
