Not a lawyer, just a lowly former courts reporter, but - Pretty much all talk of any member of the Trump family logging jail time strikes me as really naive. Trump is fucking fraud and grifter, but he's also 74 and has never been arrested. He's a white collar con man who has quietly been forced to settle court cases in the past.

Like a lot of rich old fucks, I think Trump has always done a great job of just insulating himself with layers upon layers of bureaucracy and by dividing his attention with an endless amount of projects. He can always claim Venture X failed for him because he was just too busy with Venture Y (if he admits failure at all), and by the time Venture Y has failed, he's already bullshitting about Venture Z.

Maybe things will change when he dies - Don Jr. and Eric just don't have that same grifter charisma / bullshit ability Don has. Ivanka kind of struck me as the Michael Corleone of the family for a while, if you could even attribute that status on someone. She seemed to stay mostly isolated from the bullshit until Trump run for president, but the recent articles about her former social circles seem to suggest that she's now seen as toxic as her father by The Cools. It wouldn't surprise me if she just quietly isolates as much as she can once her father is out of office, and lets her brothers go down with the ship.

My fervent wish is that life is so toxic for her here that she lives the balance of her life overseas.

We only thought Sidney Powell was bad. Check this out. A lawyer for the President did this.

Here's Trump's dilemma. He's got but one grift left and it's a good one -- the perpetual candidate. He'll get mucho donations to his Super PAC, enough to keep up the multiple golf club lifestyle and fly around doing rallies claiming he won the election. BUT, this grift also incentivizes investigation and at a minimum civil prosecution of his previous grifts. Settlements of civil cases will eat into the nut of the candidacy grift. Almost all rich people settle tax fraud cases in the end, but those settlements can be expensive.

Based on what I have read about the consulting fee payment and the inaugural payments, no.

    I can’t remember older stuff.

Well, just stamp your little feet and veto then, bitch. Then you can claim that you vetoed it over this and not the money laundering language that was added.

Does he not realize there are some crazy infantry who are good with firearms and won’t be pleased when they’re blocked from a pay bump? I’m not endorsing such action, mind you.
