Trump’s had 4 years and the resources of the federal government, not a single Deep State operative has been uncovered. Deep State is so powerful to remain in charge yet so impotent as to allow a despotic game show host to president.
    God works is mysterious ways.

Gaetz adopted a 19 year old Cuban boy and not a single story of national consequence.

Whenever a prominent pol starts mentioning the "deep state", members of the media should flat-out ask them to name names. See how many of them are willing to risk a slander lawsuit.

If the media had a collective ball, that should have happened a thousand days ago

So he’s going to appoint Corey L. and the lawyer dude to that civilian advisory board at DoD?

    What’s the endgame here?

As far as I can tell, it's a resume item with maybe some honorariums for meetings. They're gonna be out on their ass on Jan. 21, so there's not even a good chance to steal anything.

Yes, Gaetz ... the alpha male who's never been seen with a woman. That's a new one. Ridiculous even for TrumpWorld.

One of the really remarkable things about this era is how a long-serving senator for a medium-ish sized state has elevated his position into a de facto prime minister gig.

McConnell is the second-most powerful man in American government and would be first if it wasn't for executive powers, which is why no president will ever voluntarily cut those back.

In a country of 330 million, McConnell gained that power on the strength of 1.2 million Kentuckians. That's it.

There's so many things that need fixing and adjustment from norms to laws, but it is absolutely insane one person gets so much power for so little.

Biden is already past 81 million popular votes and could end up with millions more, giving him an absolute mandate to do what needs to be done.

But what terrifies Republicans is, if Georgia breaks Democratic and Harris emerges as a tie-breaker, the combination of cash covid relief, plus the vaccine and an economy that goes boom, gives a high-probability Dem wave in 2022, and making a Dem repeat as president even more likely in 2024. Republicans know that.

If Georgia goes the other way, then Republicans will absolutely gut the country for two years and pay no consequences in 2022 because they'll all blame Biden and the brain-dead Trump voters will go along for the ride.

Also, apropos of nothing, a brain-dead Trump voter of my acquaintance, the literal girl you went to high school with who is now a super evangelical Trump supporter, says says the death of a grandparent of a mutual is because of Democrats and their insistence on masks that don't work. Everyone who worked in the nursing home was required to wear them but when you press a little further, you learn that visitors to patients weren't always required to wear masks, along with certain vendors for the nursing home.

So, if you just a bit of brain power, you realize that masks, if actually worn, do work, but whatever. There's no point in talking to her though. Oh and here's a little nugget for legal eagle types.

She's a law student at Ava Maria, where she got in trouble for posting nonsense on Facebook and in student chats. So it is actually possible to be conservative for Ava Maria.
