True - Maybe it is just that TV really magnifies that aspect? Maybe that's more of what I'm picking up on.

I think I saw this on reddit or heard it in a pod, so I take no credit for it, but

You either die a finisher or live long enough to become a transitional move.

rip super kick, ddt, press slam etc

I remember my first "Holy shit' moment for a move was the first time I saw Cowboy Bob Orton do a superplex back in the 80s.

Damn, Brisco hit it out of the park with this one.

Nice to see Brisco and Slaughter front and center with Vince. Slaughter especially given his epic match with Pat.

Although I'd dock WWE a few points for piping in the same "Thank you, Pat!" chant from NXT.

That was really good. And completely beside the point, but Brisco's grown himself a damn fine set of mutton chops.

So I’m a little confused here. Roman just bashed Otis a bunch of times with the steel steps. Even though they were not the legal men in the ring, how was that not a DQ?

Ref didn’t see it, it didn’t happen.

Ref needed to have their hearing checked.

Clearly no surprise here, but WWE Network did a great job with its Keith Lee doc. Never knew he failed three WWE tryouts before finally making it.

incredible show. I had no idea he left A&M before he was done, I always thought he finished up football like Rock and Roman before getting into rasslin.

Hearing Keith’s mom pronounce it ‘rasslin was a joy.

Takeover’s been a real banger so far.
