So that's it? Only things in the very first post count? People can only care about one thing? Your desperation makes you look stupid, JC. Most things make you look stupid, but it is even worse in this case.

In case you still don't understand, the problem with your claim is your insistence that I only cared about that one thing. The posters with functioning brains who read all or even most of the discussion know that. You are so desperate to find a gotcha that I know you read it all, so that brings up the other thing you lack that led to the failure in comprehension.

In an effort to be more positive, I will share this. The Steelers were able to bring Stephon Tuitt off the COVID list today, which makes me a little more optimistic about Monday evening's game. :)

Steelers activate Stephon Tuitt from COVID-19 list - ProFootballTalk

Edit: I may have spoken too soon on good news. Roethlisberger, kicker Chris Boswell, and cornerback Steven Nelson all missed practice today with injuries. I knew Nelson had injured the knee against Baltimore. He was downgraded to doubtful today. Roethlisberger, I assume it is the sore knee he has been dealing with since the Dallas game. The Boswell injury seemed to come out of nowhere. That could be a very big deal with the Steelers struggling in the red zone lately.

I think one important factor to consider is the current structure of the Broncos. The team is controlled by three trustees. They will designate which one of the seven children become the new CEO.

One trustee is the current CEO, Joe Ellis. He is 61 and a life-long Broncos employee. I don't know how much Ellis makes because the Broncos are privately held. I do know the CEO of the only publicly held NFL team, Mark Murphy of Green Bay, makes 2.4 million dollars a year. Ellis also quite likely receives substantial psychological gratification from being CEO of the Broncos. If a Bowlen takes over as CEO what happens to Joe?

Another trustee is the team attorney, Richard Slivka. He is about 76. If a Bowlen takes over what happens to Rich?

The third trustee is the Mary Kelly, who prepared Pat Bowlen's estate plan. I am quite sure that she bills for her time spent as Bronco trustee and I doubt if the other two trustees quibble about her rates. If a Bowlen takes over what happens to Mary?

Ellis fired the daughter from the first marriage who wanted to take over the team. And evidently Brittany, who seems to have been given a lot of special projects in her tenure with the team. But nothing particularly significant. She, for example, prepared the team's unsuccessful proposal to host the NFL draft. Hosting the NFL draft is not particularly important to the on or off the field success of the Broncos. Now she appears to have fallen out of favor.

So the trustees appear to believe that there is no qualified successor from Pat Bowlen's children so they have to stay on and keep getting paid. This is a truly surprising turn of events.

Roughing the passer rules and over protection of the QB have made a mockery of football. Hard Pressure of the QB draws a penalty, layoff to stay within the rules allows the qb to evade and run or throw.
one thing that needs to be taken into consideration when thinking of great QBs is how hard it was to stand on the pocket and throw or scramble and throw. Joe Montana wasn’t that big and he took a beating from tough defenses like the Bears and Giants. Not saying Brady wouldn’t have been as tough, but he doesnt have to worry too much. And everyone knows, hit Brady hard and early and you rattle him.
Cam Newton is big and strong, but if he had to play against the defenses that Montana played or Marino or Tarkenton, he may have overcome and produced, or withered. He does get sacked often, but todays QBs haven’t had to face the vicious hits of the 60’s-80’s

Brady has benefitted from that as much as anyone for the reasons you posted.

Teams have gotten away with big hits on some of the bigger quarterbacks like Newton and Roethlisberger. Maybe it is just a reaction by the officials to those guys being able to break tackles, but Newton in particular has taken some vicious hits over the years that should have been roughing calls and weren't.

Speaking of Roethlisberger, apparently, the report from today's walkthrough is he is likely to play even though he is still questionable. Kicker Chris Boswell was downgraded to doubtful. The Steelers have to replace one of the best kickers in the NFL with a Matthew Wright, a second-year pro from UCF who hasn't kicked in an NFL game yet. They just signed him to the practice squad a week or so ago, which makes me think Boswell has been dealing with the hip issue for a while and it just now got to the point that he can't play through it.

I continue to think that Washington has the best shot to win of the NFC LEast teams this week.

QBs today are basically porcelain figurines on my Grandmas shelf after they release the ball. In the good ole days, defensive players were given a step or two or three after release to hit the QB.

Fair to say the Mayfield has found his footing and the Browns will be here awhile?

12 for 14, 3 TDs so far today.

31 points 4 TD passes in the half. And they are beating a winning team.

    Winning team? Titans are 8-3.

You do realize that 8-3 is a winning record, right?

People have been sleeping on the Browns. I think that is because the Ravens and Steelers both blew them off the field early in the season. I didn't see the game against Baltimore, but the loss to Pittsburgh was more of a snowball effect. I don't think the gap between those teams is nearly as big as it looked that day.

Mayfield has been much better since Beckham was lost for the season. Put his growth with the running of Chubb and Hunt, and that is a very good offense. They would need an epic collapse by the Steelers to win a division, but they look like a very dangerous wild card team.
