Good luck. I know how stressful that can be. Once again, process over result

Thanks. It's all good. Should work out just well. Still expect the Chefs to cover.

The likelihood of a team converting should be part of the decision-making process. That is where the result plays some part in evaluating such decisions. For example, the play the Broncos ran on that two-point conversion was a mess, which makes the decision to give away a point there look even worse.

Both coaches had me puzzled on that Denver drive late in the first half. Reid decides to not give Denver 4th/9 after an incomplete pass.... and then Fangio sends out the FG unit for 57 yards.

    Here is my issue.

This isn’t the 1990 Giants-49ers. You need touchdowns to beat the Chiefs.

Even if you make it, it’s 13-6 at the half, most likely, with KC getting the ball.

If 13 points isn’t going to win the game... then consider not doing it. A missed FG is the equivalent of a 7-yard sack. Denver was fortunate to only give up a FG and not a TD.

Listening to the Broncos radio broadcast. Which is odd as I had conversations with Logan many times last night.

I was until this last drive (holding on the Hill TD). Just caught U49.5 so I’m good.

Chiefs are dicking around again - like the fourth quarter in Tampa.

I have no proof whatsoever here (and since when has that stopped any member of this board‽) but maybe because it was supposed to be a Sunday regional game the NFL said it can only go to places it was going to go originally.

Of the explanations I can come up with, that’s the only one that made any sense.

I believe that is correct. I do think more people will see it tomorrow than would have on Sunday. I certainly won't complain because it is on here.

I'm getting a bit fed up with a few recent trends in football. Right now Jets and Jaguars fans and half their sycophant press corps are rooting for losses so one team can take Trevor Lawrence and the other Justin Fields. Just look at Twitter while these games were going on.
Rooting for losses to get a draft pick.
Kids not playing in bowl games, forgoing that last time to be with the teammates they busted their balls with the past 2-4 years.
Florida and Alabama fans rooting openly for the SEC to cancel their games this coming week since they've both clinched their divisions.
How the hell are we supposed to preach to kids to give their best effort, 100 percent, blah, blah when all around them they're being encouraged to be quitters?

Why should kids risk injury in meaningless exhibition games?

That's what I figured, was that it was a contractual thing. It's still a missed opportunity, though. What would the local Fox affiliates rather have, an NFL game that will spike some ratings or another episode of Hot Bench?
