Washington just received a make-up call for the officials' screw-up before halftime...in the Steelers' game last Wednesday against the Ravens.

Alex Smith took the ball with him after being sacked on third down. Washington, which had no time-outs, was rushing to bring on the field goal team for a 49-yard try. The officials didn't have the K-ball ready. Normally, they would use the one on the field, but Smith took it. Washington is basically awarded an extra time-out and kicks the field goal to get on the board. Pittsburgh is up, 14-3, at the half.

(By the way, it was Dean Blandino saying the officials messed up, not just my opinion.)

 

Jesus everything is a conspiracy against the Steelers. Could it be that two different crews made two different mistakes? It's not like the crews are tanking for a better deal pick.

I blame the Ravens and the suits in NFL HQ.

 

And the Steelers got a gift when the refs and replay officials screwed up on Logan Thomas spot. It should have been a first down.

But he doesn’t whine folks.

 

Game not on TV here for me. Listening to the Steelers PbP radio crew. Wow. They are so, so bad.

Three voices. The PbP guy rarely gives the time left in the quarter. One of the two analysts sounds drunk, slurry and sleepy.
