So my 81 year old stepdad has Covid - seems pretty mild, mainly just a really sore throat. Miraculously, my 82 year old mom (with a pacemaker) is negative. She is annoyed with me for suggesting that perhaps she should isolate from her husband. Apparently the Holy Spirit visited her yesterday and everything is going to be fine. <sigh>

 

Shoutout to the Holy Spirit and warmest wishes from modern medicine for them both.

So my wife might have it. She works in public health at one of the largest hospitals in the state. Sent home Monday and can’t get tested until... Thursday morning. They are overwhelmed with testing after the holiday weekend.

She’s achy but symptoms seem mild. She has two rooms and a bathroom and when she wants to go to the kitchen everyone goes to other parts of the house.

We will see how this plays out.
