Jew or Gentile, anyone who catches Covid at a White House event at this point will get no sympathy from me. None.

I've been dragged by the right to become a conspiracy theorist, but I believe few in the White House circle are TRULEY testing positive for coronavirus. And fewer yet are actually contracting Covid. It's become an easy out to reconvene, reset the message, and reemerge. Coronavirus positive does not equal Covid disease. Just as HIV positive does not equal AIDS. I do think Trump contracted Covid, and then, experimental only serum , NOT drugs, worked to hype his own immune system. Every republican is latching onto this to retool and promote their own agenda. Show us your test! Except Cruz. He just thinks he can follow the Trump playbook .

Odd ... Just a few weeks ago so many were convinced that ACB would be a swing vote in Trump v. Democracy.

If Trump had competent counsel, who had prepared for this foreseeable eventuality and had a plan in place to contest the election in October, she would have played her part.
But trump like most of the house republicans are just simply stupid people. The formula to fool the people and the press doesn’t work when there are actual rules written, in advance.

Those predictions were based on the presumption that your boy would present a plausible case of, for example, a recount of a few hundred votes in one winner-take-all state. Even if Amy Covid Barrett, Beer Bong Brett and Gorsuck wanted to take his appeal, they'd have looked awfully stupid if they didn't have a fourth and they submitted a dissent.

You're suggesting there was no reason to think things like that? None at all? Really?

Make sure you pack your 'chute properly.

The loonie right shouldn’t hold out much hope for the other case, given that the can was kicked into the next block of the road.

In its filing on Tuesday morning, Pennsylvania urged the justices to turn down Kelly’s request, telling them that his claims were “fundamentally frivolous” and would result in “one of the most dramatic, disruptive invocations of judicial power in the history of the Republic.”

Just a few hours later, the court did exactly that. The order indicated that Alito – who could have acted on Kelly’s request himself – had referred the request to the full court, which declined to stop the certification.

The justices still have another election case from Pennsylvania pending: the challenge to a ruling by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court that extended the deadline for absentee ballots until three days after Election Day. The Supreme Court declined to fast-track the petition by Pennsylvania Republicans to allow the justices to consider the case before Election Day; the justices will likely consider the case early next year.
