I am loving this particular race because they have finally figured out alliances. I will hate future races for the same reason. The producers will need to figure out a way to combat this and I fear it will be to continue to round them up together at starting points. That defeats the purpose of coming in first, yes?

How can anything that replaces half the humans with dogs be bad?

Listening to former Racers talk about it, this level of cooperation isn’t unusual, though the way it’s edited is.

Then I've been Bamboozled, as they hope! All the more to enjoy this show. Thanks for the reply.

There aren’t really villains but I just don’t like the final three teams.

I didn’t feel like their vendetta against Gary and DeAngelo was very established in what we saw on screen, which may be an editing problem, but it made it hard for me to root for them when generally G&D were the most fun team for me to watch.

Not having good, canonical reasons for that just made me resent their efforts and all the teaming up.

That said, I know they are all — and Will and James in particular — getting a lot of hate on social, so I feel bad in that regard.

I agree, Pilot. I don't see where the NFLers severely messed anyone up (if anything they really helped more teams than they impeded) and I don't see the reason for the vitriol against them. I also just don't think Gary and DeAngelo would have ever gotten it. I hope the NFLers get a spot in a future All-Stars season, once DeAngelo calms down.

Up until the final task, it really was anyone's game but that looked very complicated and almost final leg memory challenge-esque. Curious as to what they'll come up with for the big final task.

    Pool update:
    WolvEagle - Riley | Maddison - 103
    Huggy - Will | James - 88
    TigerVols - Hung | Chee - 77
    *MTM - Gary | DeAngelo - 50
    *Inky_Wretch - Aparna | Eswar - 31
    *Iron_Chet - Michelle | Victoria - 27
    *Wenders - Alana | Leo - 27
    *nietsroob17 - Kaylynn | Haley - 22
    *WriteThinking - Jerry | Frank - 10
    *bumpy mcgee - Kellie | LaVonne - 4
    *Nathan | Cody - 1

I don't think Will & James can quite catch up to Riley & Maddison, but we'll see next week.

That was a great leg but again, READ THE CLUE!!!!

That last task was difficult enough without misunderstanding it.

Would've been fitting for the two former Carolina Panthers players to end the race on the Saints' home field.

Especially since it appeared that there were plenty of flags that weren't part of the answer in that truck.

I think that's the first time I've ever heard such a point-blank negative response to the experience as what DeAngelo offered to end his race. Wow.

I'm sure he was upset at the blatant shutout of he and Gary from any help, though, and I, too, was kind of turned off by it. I haven't like the "alliance" aspect of this whole season, as I posted earlier. This is not supposed to be "Survivor," it's "The Amazing Race".

There probably wasn't any real reason for Gary and DeAngelo being targeted. I think it just got to the point in the race where, obviously, somebody had to lose, and the final three just picked the team among the final four that they were the least close to, and had worked with the least.

I am kind of surprised Gary and DeAngelo just gave up. It didn't seem like it would be hard to copy what the other teams were doing once they grabbed their cases and there is no way they wouldn't have won a sprint with the other two teams if they started a few seconds after.
