*18 elected attorneys general who are members of the Republican Party.

    That’s not the same thing.

Hasselhoff liked the song right away but wasn't fond of the first set of lyrics. The song originally told the story of a lone wanderer in a dystopian future scenario, with intentions of capturing the entire journey in the music video, turning it into an epic short film. Without the images and story of the video in mind, the lyrics were too abstract for Hasselhoff's taste. So Brodträger started from scratch to create the final lyrics, keeping only the original chorus. "Through The Night" is now about pushing through dark times with hope and courage, fighting your way towards the light at the ending of the tunnel. This resonated with Hasselhoff immediately and still made it possible to work themes of darkness and struggle into the lyrics, while keeping the focus on a positive message.

    Exactly what coffeeman said.

Some publication did a rundown of what that would entail.
Bruce Banner this is not; subduing his lumpy ass would be a very simple tactical maneuver.

The next thing we'll hear is how 'clever' all of this is by Trump, trying to disenfranchise millions of voters by effectively sitting on electors.

So the problem is tens of millions of American voters live in paranoid delusions only idiots could believe, and probably always will. Given that, American democracy cannot survive. Maybe it'll make it through this election, but by 2030, we will be either an authoritarian one-party state, a national wracked by perpetual political violence, or both.

Thomas and Alito certainly are not retiring while a Democrat is president, and they have more than enough hate to fuel their bodies to keep on living as long as they need to.

A secondary concern when one is trying to hold on to elected office.

“Look, it’s not that the elected officials believe democracy should be overturned by judicial fiat. It’s just that voters in these states believe it and demand it from their elected officials.”

that’s still not all that comforting

They were too busy soaking in the rays of their racist sun king they never stopped to consider that the raging pandemic he ignored could lead to his defeat.

I have not read the lawsuit but I read an analysis that there is not a “federal” voting system; each state sets up its own system as to HOW to vote, so one state has no interest in how another state elects it’s electoral college voters, only the voters in that state have an interest.
