I would caution against wanting to see purported historical events if you are going into it from an ideological and not a factual perspective. Unless it's something with multiple primary sources, you might be disappointed with what you find.

Actually, taking all mine back. I want to see me for all four years of high school to see how many chances I really wasted.

I'd want to see Chamberlain order the salute at Appomattox.

I'd rather see Chamberlain score 100 points.

Seeing the Beatles in the Cavern Club would be pretty damn cool as well.

I have a photo of myself leaning shoulder to should with the statue of Lennon outside the Cavern Club in Liverpool.
I went to see a group called 1964 a couple of years ago. It totally throws you back to the early 60s.

We've got a local Beatles tribute band called The Return that is amazingly good, down to "John" chewing gum while singing and "George" doing his little foot swirl. They have two different shows: one with the 1964-1965 Beatle boots and ties, and one with the 1967-1968 Sergeant Pepper outfits. We've only seen the first, but we've seen them multiple times and they never fail to impress.

And when you talk to them after the show, they've all got Southern accents!

I used to work with a guy who grew up in Liverpool when they were on their way up. He knew them all to some extent (he had his own band and his girlfriend, later wife, was related to one of the guys in Gerry and the Pacemakers) and he said going to see them was just something you did when they were gigging around the area. (He recalled occasionally grabbing a smoke between sets with Lennon.) He said in his mind it was preposterous to think they would become that famous because with the exception of people like the Queen and Churchill and maybe a guy like Richard Burton, British people just didn't get that kind of fame.

I was at two of those.

And I’ve been to Roswell, Ga. Does that count?
