Terrible messaging is a DeSantis specialty.

It would kill more people. That’s the difference.

It’s thinking like this that has led to widespread antibiotic resistance in infectious bacteria.

You must be one of those people who only takes half the dose of antibiotics that your doctor orders because you figure half is just as good as all of it, and that way you can save money and extend the supply.

My friend, the “difference” he references is between one dose and no vaccine at all.

I think DeSantis stepped in it by not making it clear everyone should get two doses. He probably meant (based on how he's handled this pandemic all along) is that once people get the first dose, it will be enough to start relaxing some of the restrictions (such as they are for Florida). DeSantis just stepped in it because, once again, like how he's handled this pandemic all along, he half-assed the message. He should have made it clear that one dose let's us take a breath, but two puts it behind us.

And everyone ripping on Quant, he probably knows the math behind this better than any of us. DeSantis just messed up how he said it and it will probably lead to Florida taking longer to KO the virus than other parts of the country.

Wrong. That’s how infectious organisms develop resistance to antibiotics and vaccines.

Why don’t you go pour yourself a tall frosty mug of STFU?

Nah. The math is simple. People not immediately falling into their "tribe" ... that's hard.

He said “If 80 percent of the 2 dose effectiveness holds (with) a single dose,” which is not true here (52 percent). So not only is he not agreeing with Neutral Corner, he’s also not agreeing with you.

It's not a neutral playing field. In the event that the committe can't agree on a map, it goes to the Virginia courts, which means the Republicans get their way.
