It is a “colonialism.”

 

Like how the queen is still on Canadian money, colonialism?

 

That is the word’s etymology, I presume.

 

I mean colonialism is just a colloquialism of days of yore

 

Sparty, don't misinterpret this post as being critical of you. It is not.

Why is it that somebody always has to come along and explain what the the person really meant by what he/she said? These are supposed to be great orators who are highly educated. They wowed enough people to win an election. But in the cases of DeSantis and .... uh, the president, an explanation is always necessary.

Trump says something outrageous -- like injecting bleach, he said it clear as day -- and your Trumpist friend comes along and explains that isn't really what he meant.

Hell, I got into it with a guy on FB the other day who proclaimed that Trump is not responsible for the pandemic. The states and China are responsible. I told him to get his head out of the sand. I also told him I was buying him a boat. He will get it in a couple of weeks.

 

I don't need two testes, I can trundle by with one.

 

No one has to “explain” to me what Mr. DeSantus said. It is obvious.

I commend him.

 

I’m going to act like the people who did the study didn’t write a summary.

Im smarter about their work than they are.

 

Or you can be like E.T., Eddie Torrez, the extra testicle!

 

Mr. DeSantis said nothing of the sort.
