2020-21 Baseball Offseason Thread

I forgot this tidbit from the '90 Series. There's usually a postgame buffet/cocktail party for the writers and all the other baseball people at the Series every night. What Marge did was a leave a couple concession stands open and give out free working on stale beer and extremely well done hot dogs.

 

The one I remember was she told the PR guy to write up one set of Game Notes, using both sides of the paper, and all of the media could share it.

Does this mean they're gonna "win now" even harder for 2021?

 

Dave is good at what he does, but what he does is the last thing the Phillies need.

 

An emotional Chris Rose announced that MLB Network is not renewing his contract when it expires at the end of the month and he's leaving. He alluded that it was a financial decision because of COVID.

Intentional Talk is my favorite show on the network. Gonna miss him. They didn't say if the show will continue with a different host.

EDIT: Rose came back later and said the show will continue.

So that’s the big announcemeunt? They’re changing “Cleveland” to “Clevland”?

 

And they’re going to continue to employ that moron Millar? Jesus, that’s gotta be a kick in the nuts for Rose.
