Trump is historically awful, so based on the headline, I thought this story would be about something else, namely COVID, instead of hacking.

this theory makes a lot of sense...

I'm thinking that Covid-19 is/was a biological weapon under construction in China. It got out, or was removed, and was conveniently sent to the US by our Chinese enemies, who were assisted by anti Trump traitors, and big pharma in this country. It had a multi functional value for the Chinese and the Democrats.

1) Destabilize the US economy BEFORE the election by;

a) demoralizing the American public; the media assists here with
fake numbers and inflated reporting to create a panic.
b) destroy small businesses by forcing them to close
c) use this to set up extensive anti-gun propaganda

2) It's Trumps fault! Blame everything on him, and use the virus to gain the political upper hand.

a) use the lock downs to initiate the massive voter fraud through
mail in ballots.

3) Win the election through any means possible. Now it would be the time for Biden to start paying back China for their help in winning the election, which he seems more than eager to begin as soon as possible.
