He has narcissistic personality disorder. He wants the job because he believes it will bring him maximum aggrandizement, and he wants to not lose it because he believes to do so would bring him shame. He has never known a deeper motivation than those.

 

America has never elected a mobbed up, career criminal to the presidency before. Trump always wanted to be the one who shattered norms and shake things up. He’s going to get his wish.

He has to. There have to consequences for law breaking, to give him a pass just because of a job he feel ass backwards into, is, while very American, the opposite of what the country aspires to be.

 

Because he's the king of the fucking planet and who amongst the deliriously drunk with power would ever want to give up the keys to the kingdom? It's about this and nothing else. King of the planet.

There's a huge difference between "this should happen" and "this is going to happen because it would be bad if it didn't."

 

The thing that bugs me about Trump or anyone saying they are "politically prosecuted" is that in reality "people" aren't prosecuted, the crimes are. It's not the who - it's the what. Whether Trump, Biden or whatever your last name is.
