    Absolutely. I'm not sure he can fire this dude, but he could certainly arrange for him to be transferred to chief of detecting counterfeiters in the Idaho panhandle.

    The town of Stamford Vermont, about 30 miles east of here, on the southern border of Mass, population of 865, voted 3-2 the other night to terminate the governor's emergency orders for covid in order to enact local control. Basically telling the super popular moderate Republican governor to go screw himself. Vermont's AG says the town is misguided and doesn't have a legal leg to stand on. Select Board will use the town attorney to fight AG in court. Here is the Stamford board meeting the other night.
